I have been going to the Stewart dental group for about 40 years and feel more like family than a patient. How nice it is to have the connection of all that work there. I feel like anybody would benefit from the very first visit.
I am a new patient with Stewart Dental. I have been very impressed with everyone I’ve met (Dr. Stewart, the hygienist, the x-ray technician, and the front office staff). The office is run very efficiently and is patient focused and friendly. Everyone is very competent. And, it doesn’t take very long to realize how capable Dr. Stewart, herself is. I have a complicated case and I could not expect more than a thorough evaluation and very careful consideration of what the best options for me would be. In my case, I really appreciated that she didn’t jump to conclusions. She carefully explained what she was considering and the options and possibilities are. . On my follow up visit, it was very clear she had thought through my case and decided to see how things developed so that if she needed to do more complex dental procedures she’d be sure it was exactly what needed to be done. Her patience, concern, practicality, skill and intelligence impressed me and I was 100% confident I found a terrific practice and dentist after moving from Maryland to North Carolina. Dr. Stewart came highly recommended by several of my relatives who have lived here for years. I could certainly see why she gets all the raves from the people who recommended her. And, it’s a pleasure for me to give her the highest praise I can.
Everyone is friendly, the hygienists are always gentle yet very thorough. Dr. Melissa is great. We have been patients of hers for quite a few years, and we love how she keeps an eye on trouble spots and never suggests we do something we don’t need.
First of all, I do not like anyone messing with my teeth, but the Stewarts have always made my trip to the dentist an easy one. The whole staff at Stewart dental is so friendly! Dr. Melissa Stewart is always awesome! I arrived and they had me in my seat to clean my teeth right on time. The experience was painless and the Stewarts are always professional. The hygienist, Lauren, did an awesome job! I had a cap come off while flossing my teeth the day after and Dr. Stewart was able to accommodate and have my cap put back on with absolutely no problems, once again, they had me in and out of there in a timely manner.
I’ve been going here for a long time they are the best. They are kind and good people, know their job well.

I came to Stewart Dental today as a non-patient for an emergency dental procedure. Needless to say that they offered exceptional service and were able to fit me into their schedule (same day). This was important to me as my dentist’s office was closed and the procedure was time sensitive.
I have been going here for 19 years!! They are literally the best. I started bringing my son here. My 6 year old son was so hesitant to get a tooth filled and they were super kind, patient and accommodating. I am grateful for Dr. Stewart, Ms. Adrienne, Ms. Lauren, and the rest of the office. Several years ago, someone suggested I see Dr Melissa for sleep apnea. She fitted me with an appliance that I use when I sleep. My next sleep study revealed that I had far more effective results than with my CPAP machine!
